I actually like the OBSG Galactica, mainly due to it's weapons. It was more powerful than the new Galactica. ninja.gif

I like the new one myself, but the pegasus was a close second.

The Pegasus is a much more capable ship. Twice the size as the Galactica and less crew. Double the flight landing areas with the twin inverted decks. The Viper production facility does make it a pretty much self sustaining as well. But I like the TNS Galactica the best though. They are all good designs for scifi ships though.

I've always been a fan of the TOS design. The lines are clean and it has a very majestic look to it. I was somewhat disappointed when they came up with the new design for the mini. It has since grown on me, but I still don't like it as much as the original.

The original Galactica has my vote...........without it there be no new Galactica or Pegasus at all, i like the engine section the best of the original Galactica

The new Galactica as much as i like it looks like a shell, or a half stripped hull of a sailing ship as for Pegasus that sure is one big bird

It is probably just the new technology. But I like the details that they add to the new Galactica. Better shots of them landing, better views of the hangers, the weapons, and the interior shots are far better.

Hats off to the old Galactica though. It was on heck of a war wagon. To me it still seems bigger then the new Galactica. I guess the use of angles and effects.

Taking a look at the form and shape, I'd go with the Beast err... Pegasus.
But considering the name, and the characteristics... I'd choose the Bucket. The new one. But only because I completely missed the original Galactica. smile.gif
I've picked Pegasus in the poll.

I liked the valkyrie, cool name and the front was great. It looked agressive.

As much as the new Galactica is growing on me... I still am and always will be a fan of the Original "Big G".

New galactica all the way,

Peggy looks 2 much like a giant chubby metal dinosaur. (sorry 2 all those peggy fans)

I dont really think u can compare TOS galactica and new galactica cuz theyre both wicked cool in their own way.

I picked TNS Galactica, mostly cause she looks old, and an old ship you can always count on.

I've just remembered to the episode "Hero" which contains a flashback... When Adama and Tigh were aboard the Battlestar Valkyrie... Does anyone know if there's a full-sized picture out there about the Valkyrie? Is she similar to the Pegasus in design, or is she a member of a different class of Battlestars?
