In order to ensure our security and continuing stability, the "Non BSG art Competition #66" will be reorganized into the first Galactic Non BSG Empire!
For a safe and secure art contest which I assure you will last for ten thousand years.

The time has come. Execute Contest 66.

Our new topic is:
Star Wars Imperial Trooper(s).
(Stormtroopers, Clone Troopers, Biker Scouts, Snow/Sandtroopers... any Imperial "trooper" with white armor.)



Here are the rules:
This competition runs on a TWO WEEK setup:
-Monday (week one) topic will be announced.
-Friday (week two) voting will begin and carry through the weekend.
-You are unable to vote for your own artwork.
-The winner will select the topic for the next competition via PM to the contest moderator.
-Maximum size of entries is 600px x 600px.
-In the event of a tie, a winner will be selected by the contest mod
-ONLY the contest Mod, or a site Admin, can disqualify an entry
EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO POST!

Update: TIE pilots and AT-AT drivers allowed too even though they are not white in color. Oops! IT'S LATE, sorry. :)

... Ironically as I uploaded my entry to my web server "The Emperor Arrives/The Death Star" music came on my XM on my Silver Screen TV Music Channel.
HECK YEAH!








P.S. Did you other geeks know that a TIE fighter helmet is 1/2 Stormtrooper and 1/2 X-Wing Pilot?!
Recognize that mohawk and "sideburns" as it were from the X-Wing helm?!

And THEN – TIE helmets were cannibalized to create the AT-AT driver helmets. OOOH - We seem to be made to suffer. ;)

Loved the laser beam, the reflection of the Tantive 4's corridor in the mirrored portion of the helmet, etc.
Overall, a beautiful, very "Star-Wars-y" image (it doesn't feel static or like a portrait; it has energy). :cylon_newanime012:
