Ah, Age of Mythology. That takes me back. Nothing like unleashing the wrath of the gods upon your foes.

As for what I played, it was, of course, WoW. Which is probably going to be just about the only thing I ever have to post here. Got a raid planned today; me and the guild are gonna take a crack at Algalon the Observer.

Star Trek Academy

It's an oldie but a goldie. My son is heavily into star trek right now and wants to play this. So we have been playing it for a couple of weeks now and still stuck on disc 2. 3 discs left to go.

Played Halo, Age of Mythology, Yu Gi Oh card game for PC and an online game, League of Legends. The game is not bad but when you're a n00b everyone hates you:P!

I'm afraid to even try LoL. I've heard it makes the WoW community look friendly and kind by comparison...

Anyway last video game i played was Star trek The next Generation for SEGA and Yu Gi Oh.

What is with the hostile geeks playing online gaming?? I hear this story often...
Kind of reminds me of fan posts on "Ain't It Cool News"; every other post sounds like something scribbled on a boy's bathroom wall... :doh:

GBBS is like a breath of civilized air after I surf other sites. The news website comment boards are the worst! I once posted a comment about the success of the Mars rover missions and I had some lady tell me that my head was stuck up Obama's a$$. How the two connect is still a total mystery to me; the rovers were launched over 4 years before Obama was even elected, but oh well...

The rest of the online world is a hostile, scary place. :fear: Star Trek fans (while seemingly benign when you meet them face to face) turn into saber-toothed a$$holes when they're online. I once made a comment on Trekmovie.com defending the animated series (just for some of the stories, not for style) and I was told (by about half a dozen people) how f**ked up and ignorant I was. They've gotten slightly better at moderation over there (I've noticed that homophobes who post gay slurs tend to die a quick death, thank goodness), but it's still like the Mos Eisley cantina compared to GBBS.

Ironic; for fans of a show about a warship protecting masses of angry, scrappy survivors from killer robots, Galactica fans are very kind hearted and open minded... :hug:

I'm of the opinion that they're utter failures in their own life and thus need to rely on virtual accomplishments to feel good about themselves, which is strengthened by tearing down other people. This is a large part of the reason I never got to do raids in WoW until they changed things last patch; not because of a lack of skill or time, but because I couldn't stand to deal with the elitist asswipes who make up most of the raiding guilds.

Blizzard does a lot of things very well, but they're awful at moderating their community. Granted, it's like trying to stop a flood with only one sandbag, but sometimes it seems like they don't even try.

For some reason when I bought the new downloadable content I had to re-do the final mission.
So.. now my crew is dead (DOOHH), but other than that ... IM READY FOR ME3!

I played League of Legends again. I've decided to just let the other players tell me that I'm a n00b, I'll just play the video game as good as I can. Anyway i slayed my first hero in LoL. Success! I also played Halo: Combat Evolved. I love that game. Now I'm playing in normal mode and it's a little harder than before, when I played in easy. I also played Yu-Gi-Oh and Aliens VS Predators 2.
