On the complete series DVD, not all of the episodes had commentaries. Why was this? Why wasn't there a commentary from Magda Apanowicz on "Things We Lock Away" and "The Heavens Will Rise"? Did she not want to do one on the former as she spends all of her scenes suffering?

My only guess is the studio didn't want to fork over the additional expense of getting the actors to record tracks for all the episodes. Especially (sadly) for a show that didn't do well to begin with. Usually when you 'follow the money' you find the answers to these kinds of issues...

What I found cute when starting to listen to "The Dirteaters" commentary to see who the participants were, is that lovely Magda said she was on it so that she would be in all the extras. How lovely she is. Her voice makes my heart melt.
