For the last two years, I have been slowly putting together stuff for what would eventually become a showcase for my replica and actual props.

The location was an unfinished section of my upstairs.



I then added insulation. I actually had a guy sell me his extra insulation for $50. And I have leftovers too!









I then outsourced the drywall and mudding. I then painted the primer and grey paint. And a few decorations have started going up.





Since the ceiling is vaulted, so I had to put it there. But it is centered and even, although it is hard to tell from the photo. A couch will be going underneath it.

I'm going to go look at doors at Habitat for Humanity. You know, one I can add glass with a certain emblem on it...



Carpet comes in a week or so...

OH MAN! I was expecting to see some rafters still and such - as in the ribbing on the Galactica, missing panels, etc.
