Here's another recent (1997) favorite of mine; I love this movie.

Star Trek: Wrath of Khan is arguably the best of the TOS movies, but man does it have a lousy trailer...

And ironically, what many thought was a crummy Superman movie (it had flaws, but I liked it) had a KICK-A$$ teaser trailer....
Just hearing Brando's voice and John Williams' magnificent Krypton theme sent shivers down my spine; still does!

This one. When it was first released - after a lot of anticipation - it was amazing to see. Especially as some of the previous Trek trailers have been terrible, as OT points out above.

And another that is RIGHT ON target:
I love how it opens with the late Jerry Goldsmith's kick-a$$ V'ger music (with the beam-blaster and other 'alien' sounds). Great trailer; great movie.
