A Day In The Life. When the Tyrols are ejected into space with the other debris in the airlock look at what gets ejected with them.

Hmmm... (OT switches to magnification factor 3 on his LED eye) Nope.

Can't really make it out as a daggit, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was a daggit. The FX lead Gary Hutzel is a big time TOS BSG fan and he sneaks in visual homages to TOS all the time (landrams on the hangar decks, the TOS mineral ship, TOS photos in the starboard hanger museum, etc; more than half of the ships in the civilian fleet are based on TOS designs).

I just watched that one about a month or so ago; need to check that scene again.... :cylon-pancarte03:

The starboard hanger museum... what happened to that in the show? It was really never "dealt" with... just sorta there and gone - wasn't it??

No, they did a pan of the starboard hanger pod museum in "Daybreak," part 2 (during the 'go/no-go' countdown). Most of the museum pieces were still in there (such as our poor brother behind glass; who somehow he got an upgrade from his TOS look in the pilot). :cylonclap: :D

So, they left the entire flight pod not used during the show's run? It was not functional...?

I'm gonna go back and watch it too. In this particular screenshot I think I can make out the daggit feet, paws and that daggit snout. Yep, it is a daggit.

It's hard to tell what that is. The only way is to magnify it.

Nope.

They only have the port launch bay operational throughout the entire run of the series.
The Galactica was literally in the fight with one arm!

But no; they kept it with the museum geodesic windows, too. They used the lower section of the starboard FP (where they'd normally do viper maintenance, etc) as "Dogville" in season 3 and 4, but otherwise it was just an empty museum. Not sure what good the other flight pod would've done anyway; after the pilot (where they lost 85 hangar bay crewmen) and the fact that they only had a single squadron of Mark 2s (as well as a few Mark 7s)? One flight pod was enough I guess.

But if I was Adama? Right after the events of "33", I would've made getting the starboard launch operational again an A-1 priority (redundancy is always a good thing in emergency situations). :cylonnono:

I don't think it would have been that big an issue. It might have been nice to have a backup, but as we saw through the show several places were abandoned or not used (until the civilians took those places over) and resources were thin.
