I am no Jolene Blalock fan outside of her role of T'Pol (thank a few talk show appearances for that) but I am drawn to her character more than any other female in the trek 'verse. I go all goo goo when she gets stressed out and lets emotion slip. So she gets my vote.

For pioneering the whole revolution of a hot, smart, miniskirted officer on the bridge of a starship?
Hands down, Nyota Uhura (in either the '66 or '09 model) gets my vote.
For sheer, drop-dead face and figure (mainly outside of her ST makeup)? Jeri Ryan's Seven of Nine (a Nordic goddess, she is).
For her own brand of drop dead beauty and wonderfully quirky/eccentric, old-soul, intriguing personality? Jadzia Dax (Terry Ferrell).
She's kind of a "guy's gal" so to speak; and she likes odd guys; somehow I find that comforting!
I admire the tenacity and the bravery of Major Kera Nerys, but sometimes she's just spoiling for a fight, and that puts me off.
So, if I have to vote? I'll vote for the prototype: Lt Uhura!
With Dax a very close runner-up....

For some reason, it worked now.
Must've been another Mac-thing.
I change my mind so often it's like a damn revolving door in there!
Just look at how often I edit my posts!

Barbara Bouchet (Kelinda, from the TOS episode "By Any Other Name")!!

Holy cow; her face, her eyes, her figure, her sexy mild German accent... easily the most gorgeous female guest star IMO.
First saw the episode when I was about ten or eleven, and I think that's when my uh... 'sexual preference' became uh... quite clear to me!

And despite her French sounding last name (changed when she came to Hollywood), the actress is indeed German (I imdb'd her; NO, I'm not cyber-stalking... not at all!

Though whenever Guinan was on screen, she stole the scene. She was always rational and calming, a nice addition to most episodes.

Guinan was Yoda reimagined as a black, female bartender.
And Guinan is yet ANOTHER character who dispenses better advice than "Counselor" Troi....
There was a joke in an episode where Guinan tells a despondent Troi she's considering applying for her job (Reverse Psychology 101; and idiot Troi actually fell for it),
and I remembered (at the time) thinking, "GO FOR IT!!"
Having an Oscar-winning actress in uniform on the bridge instead of tending bar would've been better than having her occasionally guest star whenever a character REALLY needed counseling.

The lovely Leslie Parrish as Lt Carolyn Palamas (in the TOS episode, "Who Mourns for Adonis?")

I loved how those TOS women's costumes really make a woman look like a woman, no mistake!
That Grecian gown... holy moly
Oops! Got a little hot under the collar, there...I actually worked with the actress' niece once, at my old job (many years ago); she was a doll. A very nice, lovely girl.
Never met Leslie Parrish herself (I'd have been a tongue-tied idiot if I had),
but her niece was very nice.
I also met Michael Forrest ("Apollo" from the same episode) at a convention in 2001. Great voice, that guy; even now.

Honorable mentions go to the original Uhura (she classes up every scene she's in), Guinan (one of the best Trek characters ever, IMO), Kes, and the Daxs.

Yes, I agree; Hoshi is a little Hotti!

As for the 'voting for more than one' option? That was my fault.... I told dave that it was really hard to just pick one.
So he graciously made a new option for indecisive geeks like me!

I guess I'm the only toaster here that prefers *ahem*, 'non-silicon based' life-forms!
Of course, for guys who like silicon accoutrements, there's this female on Janus 6, she's a working mom, and very nice...
Her ad in the personals column might read like this:
Horta, mother of millions (but still keeps herself in shape), kind of a shy, homebody type.
Would like to tunnel, burrow/bore through solid rock with a strong, tough, acid-resistant male.
Pointed ears preferred. Call me at 555-NO-KILL-I

And lest one forget; the late Majel Barrett Roddenberry's first role on the show; "Number One" from the Star Trek TOS pilot, "The Cage" (which was later incorporated into the two parter "Menagerie"). She was a woman XO aboard a TV starship at a time looooonnng before the first American woman even flew in space; although the Russians had already orbited Valentina Tereshkova by this time.

Valentina Tereshkova; a real-life trailblazer!
And having met MB once at a convention in March of 2006 (she was visibly ill and unsteady when I'd met her, but still very much a trouper; signing autographs very graciously), I can honestly say, whatever her character's true name was, the actress WAS Number One!
(I cherish my MB autograph)
RIP, Majel!
