Happy 32nd Birthday Battlestar Galactica!

At that time, that was simply the COOLEST thing I'd ever seen on TV (I watched the entire three hour pilot transfixed by the brilliant phosphors of my parent's old Zenith!). For an 11 yr old boy, it was (then) like having Star Wars EVERY WEEK (for free, no less).

It was also equally cool when the pilot was theatrically released in 'Sensurround' (meaning the loud scenes, such as viper launches, were punctuated by a hidden subwoofer). I think I went back and saw it (by itself, and in various double features) about 8 or so times. :cylonclap:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BSG! My first real understanding of 'must-see' TV (this was before VCRs were generally common; and DVRs weren't even in science fiction yet...)
