The word, sir?
Kirk: The word is no. I am therefore going anyway.

Just came home from the gym. Did about 3 miles (about 4.8 km) on the treadmill. I am DEAD (this email is coming from beyond the urn... hopefully, I was cremated per my wishes). I ratcheted up the incline level to 9 for the first half of it. UGH!! For me, it was climbing Everest. I was about 20 seconds from a pain-induced Hulk out...
But I slowly lowered the incline to a six and then finally to a 3 before I ended it. Took my arthritis meds, and am home now (where I am somehow both dead and able to write this).
<<"NO COFFEE MAKE HULK OT CRY!!!"

I have gone to the gym the last three days; increasingly harder workouts each day. Today I only did 2 miles (about 3.2 km) on the treadmill, but I jacked it up to a level 10 incline for half the time (a new record for me), and down to 6 for the rest. I had a new mix CD I made to help me along. The 1998 Lost In Space theme makes a KICK-A$$ workout theme...
The techno beat combined with the John Williams brass really got my old, fat heart pumping today....

Level 10 incline on the treadmill for about 30 minutes; then remaining 15 minutes at a level 6 down to a 3 inclination. All the while at around 2.5-3 mph (4.8 kph). Wheeeeewwww!!!!
