That kind of workout has never really worked for me. Mostof the guys in my company tend to got he less is more route and it works wonders.

I'm in my second week of a 5x5 program I did a little while ago. Today's would be...
- Olympic Squats
- Bench Press
- Bar Rows
...all 5x5 on the heaviest I can lift. Followed up with weighted sit ups and a 3x8 tricep routine. Most likely tricep extensions. I throw in shrugs for good measure as it works a part of my body that takes a lot of impact. Or should do, when I'm active again.

Tuesday & Thursday workouts are a bit different, but follow the same lines. It worked wonders for me last time I did this. I'd do another five weeks on this routine, bumping up the weight as I go and if it goes as well as it did last time... I'll be reasonably merry.

My only exercise is walking, but I do it a lot. With no car, it's one of my methods of travel, and even when I have nowhere to go, I usually take at least one two walks a day just for pleasure. It clears my head.

Before my accident 16 years ago, I used to LOVE going for long walks at night. And I still walk to my little park up the street at least once a week but with damn near crippling arthritis and screws and pins holding my butt and legs together, it's much more challenging than it used to be.

I really love a nice walk, though; even short ones! :cylonclap:

CK, that leg seems a bit out of place. Perhaps we should stretch first.....Let's try this again...

Platoon, attention!

Extend to the left, march.
Arms downward, move.
Left face.
Extend to the left, march.
Arms downward, move.
Right face.
From front to rear, count off.
Even number to the left, uncover.

The first stretch will be the upper back stretch. Ready?!?
