Went out with some friends of ours and celebrating one of our friend's 41st birthday (actually 2 days ago, but we celebrated tonight). It was fun. Nice dinner, good conversation, got to hold their baby (try not to freak out, Nan ) and we did coffee at Starbuck's afterward, where we enjoyed a nice, lazy night cap.
This was a friend of ours who beat cancer (twice) and became a new mom only last year, so we were all grateful (there was about 6 of us) to celebrate with her!

Went to the beach to visit the in-laws last night. Had a nice dinner, watched some HBO, and got to drive by the water going to and fro (I've always loved the water at night...).
