Just saw it; kind of a 'breather' episode IMO (after all of the 'roller coaster' episodes they've had so far in season 4.5 ). Nice emotional stuff with Tigh (Michael Hogan was, as always, amazing; he just continues to blow me away). Think I got a tear in my visor slit on that baby scene. Must...not...rust!

Yeah, I remember when I used to just hate Tigh. And I remember when I used to like Gaeta, too. And look how that turned out.

A breather is a good word for this episode, however, like some breathers, this one was quite good.

I'll post some more opinions later when I watch the second airing.

Ah Ellen is back on form, manipulative and conniving. I feel sorry for Saul and Six Such a shame about the baby. Baltar's babes have guns now Are they becoming Galatica's police force? Whoo Hoo It looks like Sam is on the mend

Where's Helo in all this? He's my fav character and he's been either absent or beaten up. He should have recovered from his wounds by now.

Did you see how happy Boomer was to see Galen? Looks like the feelings are still alive in her.

Good episode. I'm finding both Tighs more tolerable now that they're Cylons. I think I'm even starting to like Saul a little.

I am once again struck by how talented Tricia Helfer is. Her performance in this episode was really powerful. Caprica's really developed into a well-rounded character.

I'm finding it interesting how integrated the fleet has become. Cylon goop is holding Galactica together, there are Cylons commemorated on the memorial wall, heavy raiders are flying CAP... My theory of a hybrid future is starting to look more likely.

I think the Cylon/human alliance arc is on the fast track to become my favourite part of the series. Not only do I find it very powerful and inspirational, but all the bumps and difficulties along the way are very interesting as well. It feels realistic. They're not just waving a magic wand and making everything all better.

So, um, Baltar's going vigilante now? Okaaaay...

That's a good point. With the humans and the Cylons growing ever closer, you'd think he and Athena would be more prominent. They were the first to put aside the old hatreds.

I wonder what is the idea Baltar gave to Adama in return for guns... Oh and the old Baltar is back again! And by that I mean the hilarious one. I was laughing hard when he said things like strenght within and then guns and his exceptional glare!

I'm confuse about the love Tigh is spreading. Ellen, Liam, Caprica..

After last weeks episodes, I thought "Deadlock" was a bit lacking, but it was way better than some other episodes, like, say, "Unfinished Business".

I felt sorry for Tigh. Not only did he lose his unborn son, but is wife/ex-wife/whatever is back to beign the *itch she was when she thought she was human.

Does anyone think that Liam's death, and Sam's brain actitivy coming back are connected?

I was happy to she Roslin stop and talk to Caprica..shows me that she is trying to help Adama make this patchwork family work. However, I think the discontent is FAR from over as seen with the assult on Caprica. The real test of friendship will be when they stand together against Cavil's forces..if/when that happens again.
