The popular 4x Strategy game "Sins of a Solar Empire" devloped by Stardock has a new upcoming mod for it's growing popularity. It is Called "Sins of Athena" it will feature Battlestars both fan made and ones included in the RDM show.
To clear things up on the mod "Sins of a Solar Empire " is a 4x RTS, 4x is often an abrevieated term for "eXplore, eXpand, eXploit and eXterminate." The game Sins (or SoASE) started out slow as you explore and claim planets as well has build a fleet and research upgrades for your people and your military. Sins of a Solar Empire is a Hybrid between Command and Conquer style RTS and Homeworld and like the Homeworld 2 Battlestar Galactica Fleet commander mod Sins of Athena is expected to acheive the same hype as Fleet Commander did.

Yes, the demo is now a likely to be relased soon they just need modders and creative cylon designs
