This constant jerking around with the price of gas these days... Yesterday, gas in my neighborhood in the morning was $3.30/gallon. On the way home from work, it was $3.28/gallon. This morning, on my way to work, it was frakkin' $3.59 a gallon!! A 31-cent price jump!! What the frak is OPEC thinking?!? It's getting to the point where your whole week's paycheck will just have to be gas money!! WTF?

The landlord is trying to frak us out of more money again. This time they're saying we didn't pay a "maintance" fee for fixing our AC, when it was them who broke it to begin with.

The excuse the oil companies was givign on the news today was that they have to pay more to "ship the oil from the middle east". I don't buy it, not when both BP and Shell have broken profit records every month since Katrina in 2005.

My landlord not informing me 72 hours in advance that they were going to paint my stairwell like they are supposed to. They only gave me 24 hours. And the paint fumes are making me ill.

I'm sure they do have to pay more to ship it. But the part they leave out is that they're making so much profit that they can probably use silk tapestries for toilet paper.

People like to throw that around to make themselves feel better. I remember getting into a heated argument with an employer who kept calling me a moron. So I finally asked him, "who is the bigger moron? The moron or the moron who hired him?"

He apologized. He had no answer for the president when asked, "if you think he is so stupid why have you implemented all of his ideas?"

So try not to let it get to you. I know its hard sometimes, especially when you know you have a high IQ but people are jerks!
