Vote for your favorite episode. Let us know what you liked about it.

I have combined the multiple part episodes to try to say space.

This was the best episode. Finally the Galactica goes on the offensive and kicks some Cylon butts. Well with the help of the Pegasus. Hum maybe it is why I like Pegasus in the new series so much. smile.gif

"Living Legend" was my pick... Always admired Lloyd Bridges as an actor, whether he be serious (Cmdr. Cain), or a goofball (Any Zanuck Bros. flick). Plus, I always thought that the "Big G" could have used some extra backup...

I had to go with "Saga of a Star World", although Lloyd Bridges did a good spin In "Legend".

I still think the Cyclon attack on the 12 Colonies was much better done in TOS. MOre emotional. I didnt like the part with the greenies on Carillon though. The idea of people being cocooned as food grossed me out big time.

Mine is “The Hand of God” because not only did the fleet finally fight back, but we, the viewers found out that they were indeed getting closer to Earth.

Baltar's Escape. Was fun to see Siress Tinia to stand up to Adama, even if she had bad arguments at first. Seeing Borellians faking their deaths by not faking it was priceless! And for once, Baltar wasn't sitting doing nothing.

Close second was The Living Legend. For me, the series truly takes shape at that time. I was having a hard time to watch it before that.

The Living Legend was an absolute classic. Even after all these years, it had a guest star who was so dynamic that he's still remembered. Just like Patton in space.

And the fact that I seemed to have gone to college at Cylon HQ just adds to the fun!

I have to go with "Lost Planet of the Gods". So many of the elements that made BsG great were present in this episode; sneaky Baltar, the mythology, humor(Starbuck lighting a match on the Centurion is classic), Doctor Salik (the most under utilised cast member). But mostly the ending scene captures my attention the most. The scene at Serinas death bed w/Apollo and Boxey is to my mind one of the most tragic scenes in space opera history. Right up their with Spocks death only better acted!

I liked Experiment in Terra. I wish they would have ran with it more and explained where those humans on Terra originally came from.

They did. They were part of the 13th Tribe.

I loved all the multi-arc stories. The singular stories were rather boring, especially the ones when either Starbuck or Apollo were stuck on a planet with a family of Humans. All the multi-part stories were indepth and full of both action and drama. I chose Saga of a Star World. Part 1 was my favourite of the 3 parter, though. They were able to establish the setting of a 12-planet interstellar civilisation, and destroy it in less than 45 minutes tongue.gif. Great stuff!

War of the Gods - really started delving into the "Great Powers", origin of the Cylons and the battle of good and evil that was raging at a higher plane. Very philosophical and spiritual at the same time. Good stuff!

I chose The Living Legend as well.

I attended CSUN for a few years before transferring to Texas A&M, so I am very familiar with the Oviatt Library at CSUN. I knew right away when I was there my first day that the library was Gamoray! LOL

Now if you had a picture of you wearing a skin tight black jumpsuit in front of the building it would be classic.

I love all the original episodes because they were so well done. But I chose "Fire in Space" - love this episode - even if the OS never had aired again, I still remember this episode as a kid. I kept thinking how are they going to survive this? The whole ship is on fire! I thought what was really cool was this one shot they did of the inside of the ship and you see the DC crew trying to put out this wall of flames that has to be 4 stories high. It just gave you an idea as to how massive the Galactica really was. For that reason I voted this one as being one of my favorites. (although I loved all of them equally)

I voted for Saga Of A Star World Parts 1-3 and brought us into a two way tie for the lead with The Living Legend.

Saga is so epic, and just a little bit into you are starting to care about the characters - very well done.

SOASW is my all-time favorite as well. No episode since has ever felt so BIG. Saw it in theaters several times (as well as on TV) and IMO, it played VERY well on the big screen. cylonclap.gif
My close runner-ups would be "Living Legend" and "War of the Gods", but the pilot was so rich and epic in scope. I'll never forget the viper launches in glorious "sensurround" sound (essentially a subwoofer that would kick in during in the loud moments; causing the floor to rumble). Even as a solo film (and not a series' pilot) it worked beautifully. nBSGsalute.gif

Not to rain on your opinion, but a lot of fans really don't like Fire in Space. I don't know what their problem is about that episode, except maybe for the dorky spacesuits that Apollo and Starbuck wear at the end of the episode. I personally loved the episode. It concentrated more on Boomer and Athena. It showed that Maren Jensen could act. Frack those that said she was a bad actor. They never watched this episode. This episode is her best one. I also loved that Muffit was a hero, going back and saving the firefighter.
