Vote for your favorite episode. Let us know what you liked about it.
My favorite is Return of Starbuck. This to me is the only episode that was true to the original BSG. The only reason I like the series is because it was BSG but it was SURE different in a very bad way.

I voted for The Return of Starbuck. This episode was THE only good episode of G80. One of the best episodes of Battlestar Galactica.

From a comical point of view and an innovative point of view - "The night the Cylons landed" is one of the best from TOS because it introduces the first skinjob and it was so funny having this Cylon roaming around on the one night no one would say anything - Halloween!
From a dramatic point of view - my favorite was the Return of Starbuck - just because it proved that the show needed its original heavy hitter back to boost those ratings which was just a little too late.

I just saw the episode again and I loved it. It was corny...this man is so very, very good. Yes we knew that despite his failings as a chain smoking womanizer, he did the right thing at the end of the day. Good for Starbuck!
"The Return of Starbuck" is classic BSG. It's the only real reason to buy the G1980 dvd set (which, luckily, I got for Christmas the year it came out... didn't have to pay for it).

Having just watched "The Return of Starbuck" the other night, all I can say is that it is one of the best of all TOS BSG; original or 1980...
Angela (get it? Because she's an angel?) was a bit too 'new-age' and obvious for me (she practically had wings), but she was a necessary piece of the puzzle.
And once you see Cy in action, the Cylons were never quite the same...
Dirk Benedict's finest performance in the series as well (on a par with his work in "War of the Gods" part 2).
