I like the 2006 fan edit of Living Legend the additional CGI footage made the Pegasus vs Basestar battle more intense.
But back to the 1978/79 version and i think the two parts are the best episodes and the TV movie Mission Galactica (with Fire in Space footage included with the two legend parts) was excellent

Excellent episode! I love the way how the Pegasus charges down the last Baseship and just as the Baseship explodes, the fire explosion masks the Pegasus' ambiguous escape. Did the Pegasus die valiantly or did she jump to light speed at the last second.

I felt that it was hinted at that the wreckage on the deserted planet where Count Ibilis was found was the Pegasus.
BTW, does anyone have any pics of the Silver Spar Viper markings?

This is the only episode that "pogees" is used in the classic series.

Another attempt at sci-fi cussing... it didn't ascended like FRAK to become a household word, but it's a funny side note to this two-parter episode.

This too is one of my favorite episodes. Lloyd Bridges as Cain was a nice fit and of course it introduced us to Sheba and Bojay.
I'd like to think that the Pegasus managed to jump to light speed before the Base Star blew up. It was a plausible segue into a future Pegasus appearance because they did leave the door open so to speak.
When Starbuck states in the life station to Sheba that "he probably headed out into deep space, the way he did last time" was a hintage for me that they would bring Pegasus and Cain back in Season 2. Of course, we didn't get a second season, but it's fun speculating what could have been

I could be mistaken, but didn't C.O.R.A, the talking computer in Starbuck's recon viper, use the term "pogees" in "The Long Patrol" episode?
