I started with a clock bezel that had a concave shape for the bio-dome and the rest will be made of resin here's what i got so far .

I was looking to add another ship to add to my fleet of ships so i decided to scratch build Cloud 9 from BSG. Its only going to be about 6 " long and i really don't know the scale but its in line with the rest of my ships.
I started with a clock bezel that had a concave shape for the bio-dome and the rest will be made of resin here's what i got so far .

Working on the fwd section of the ship its coming together but but it hard to find good clear shots of this ship so some parts are my best guess.

Worked some more on the main body today,got most of the basic shape done.I also did some detail to the head piece.

Got the front attached to the rear on the aft section along with the upper wing pieces installed it taking shape.

You have patience I could only dream about to make something like that! Great work...
Those little cylindrical objects look like Star Trek warp nacelles; not too surprising, I guess. There were ST references all over the Colonial fleet (you can even see the Enterprise in one shot) as well as a reference to Gemenon Liner '1701' (hee hee).
Really cool stuff....

Today a got the front and back sections glued together. Still have the rear wings and some detail to do,but its starting to take shape.

Finished off the ship part today by adding detail to the aft section of the ship and the making the rear wings pieces. I also started the cage part for the dome section.

Primed the ship part today and started on the dome got some of the top cage done and worked a little on the bottom.

I was able to do a lot today.I got the dome done Its all together painted weathered and shot with a coat of clear.I also got the ship part painted next will be to detail paint and weathering.

This ship was made to no particular scale. I used a blown up photo to get the size that I made it,there are not a lot of good photos of this ship to go by so some of it is just a good guess but it all fits together well and it adds to my the fleet.. In the picture of the fleet the hole behind and above the Galactica is for the Pegasus that i will add latter this year when it comes out.
