"The ill Roslin and hotheaded Starbuck find it hard to accept an alliance with the Cylon rebels."

Looks interesting. Starbuck meets a Hybrid, all hell breaks loose on the Demetrius...and the Colonial Marines are called in. tongue.gif As usual, SCIFI.com will be showing 10 minute preview clips from 9am-4pm ET.

I give this episode a Final Five out of five. cylonclap.gif cylonclap.gif cylonclap.gif cylonclap.gif cylonclap.gif

My mind is blown. This is exactly what I was hoping to see from the fourth season. What the Hybrid said is coming to pass. He talked about something "...once unthinkable, now inevitable..." I believe he meant an alliance between human and Cylon.

How could the Five possibly be from Earth?

What might be most interesting of all is that, if everything I had hoped would happen at the end is happening at the beginning, what's going to happen at the end?

Totally fantastic episode. Can't wait for the next one.

Ditto, it was really great. Mainly because we didn't see Baltar this time. The Jesus-freak bit is getting a bit tiring, even if I liked the episode with Emily, very well done.

Poor Gaeta!

This was an awesome episode. Really well written. I am glad that Athena/Boomer/Number 8 is being used more intelligently this season than last. It looked like she was going into character oblivion or as Hollywood calls them, extras.

Totally kicked butt. I wished number six hadn't killed that Colonial officer. It was really shocking - awesome death scene but really thought it was gratuitous. Really powerful episode. Hope the rest of the episodes turn out just as well.

best episode this season, to be sure.

it seems like the war of the gods is petering out....Roslin is beginning to believe.
so lets see, the human/cylon alliance will revive #3 which will finally reveal the final five, which will somehow lead them to earth because the five came from earth???? It doesn't seem like our four know much of anything.

While the show may not have the action that you are looking for just yet, it is certainly well written. So kudos to RDM and the gang. Faith was far from boring.

My favorite episode so far for this season. And best one since "Exodus". How many more before the hiatus?

Sam is begging to be outed--if he don't stop foolin' around, Starbuck'll pop a cap in his arse.

Quick impression: "My leg! Don't let Doc Cottle take my leg!"

Sam is begging to be outed, to be sure. Although since Starbuck's willing to make a deal with the devil to get what she wants, why would she cavil [sic!] at Anders being cylon at this stage? tongue.gif And surely even she's smart enough to tell the difference between Leoben and Sam... Although given her reputation of going off half-cocked from time to time, I guess we'll never know.

This was the best ep since "He That Believeth In Me". With the no-Baltar, I've noticed that the writers are going for single-story episodes, where one week it will focus on the Demetrius, the next will be Baltar, the next will be Lee etc.

I can't believed they killed Barolay! Like in the interview with Edward J Olmos, he said "everyone's dying in season 4". He wasn't wrong!

very good episode! very tense! the death scene with 6 was abit odd! and ill be the other centurians might be abit miffed about them unplugging the hybrid! Anders was so so so close to discovering more about himself its a shame he didn't get to! the 3's are getting unboxed! but so much for people ships of light fantasy tongue.gif it was blown out of the water!

I'm convinced there's meaning in at least some of what the hybrid said before she was talking directly to Starbuck. I watched the repeat, and was able to pick out one thing, "The children of the one reborn shall find their own country."

I've been trying to figure out what it means. This is a lot of assumption on my part, but I think she was talking about Baltair. His followers are his children. I think he and his group will find another home than Earth, and they will fulfill the role of the Thirteenth Tribe in this time cycle.

Was she in any past episodes? I thought she was just a red shirt.

I was thinking that the "one reborn" was Starbuck.

The Hybrid seems to say:
The obstinate toy soldier becomes pliant
The city devours the land, the people devour the city...
Intruders swarm like flame, like the whirlwind; Hopes soaring and to slaughter all the best against our hulls/house
All these things at once and many more, not because it wishes harm, because it likes violent vibrations to change constantly.
You are a spark of God's fire.
The children of the one reborn shall find their own country.

I wonder who the "toy soldier" is.

She was one of the original Caprican resistance fighters. First episode was "Downloaded". She does look majorly different in season four, though, with shorter and different coloured hair.
Jean Barolay

She also played one of the main characters in "Mysterious Ways", and has been in SG1, Smallville and some other shows.
